English Scenes series A beautiful photograph featuring a tree-lined walk in the grounds of the Mount Edgcumbe stately home and park, at Cremyll in the county of Cornwall. On one side, a wooden fence marks the edge of the pasture and on the other, a line of trees bathes in the evening sunshine. It looks like they are stretching, preparing for sleep as they arch their branches over the walk.
